Scar-0 Phase: During the 30-day prologue, all Sweat is provided for free through Contest entry and optional leaderboard rewards. No store, no purchases, and no packs are available during Scar-0. Sweat is play-only and never affects sweepstakes odds or prize tables.

Scar-0 is the prologue. When the Store opens January 31, your Souls will begin unlocking Archetypes, aura upgrades, banners, VFX, and realm identity. All cosmetic systems are optional and never affect sweepstakes odds.

How a Contest Works

Scar-0 is simple: Draft three lineups. Sweat the stream. One ticket enters the barrel.

Step 1 — Free Entry

Three Free Lineups

Every Ghost gets three lineups per Contest. No store. No purchases. Just join the featured live stream and draft.

Step 2 — Draft

Choose Your Players

Each lineup has two real players. Pick one Captain — their Shards count 2×. Your best lineup sets your leaderboard spot.

Step 3 — Sweat

Earn Shards · Enter the Barrel

Pots create Shards. Bigger pots crack the scar harder. When the stream ends, every Ghost receives 1 sweepstakes ticket into the nightly barrel. Souls drop by random drawing only.

Scar-0 · Scoring Engine

These Shard values control leaderboard score only. All Soul prizes are awarded separately by sweepstakes drawing using fixed prize tables under the Official Rules.

Scar-0 Pot Scoring

Only showdown winners earn Shards. There are no VPIP, all-in, or extra event bonuses during Scar-0. The goal is to keep scoring fast and transparent while you learn how the Echos actually play.

How Scar-0 Scoring Plays

• Tiny pots (< 5 BB) don’t move the meter – they’re just background noise.
• Standard pots (5–20 BB) steadily build Shards for whoever drags them.
• Big clashes (> 20 BB) rip the scar open and spike +3 Shards at once.
• Your Captain doubles everything they earn, so one heater can flip the board.

Scar-0 is a simplified test season. Future chapters may add more event types, but for Scar-0 we keep it brutally simple: pots and Captains only.

Tie-breaker | Lineup timestamp + mini-barrel

If lineups finish with the same Shard total, the lineup with the earliest Time Stamp is the Winner. If still tied, remaining tickets are pulled from a mini Barrel.

Leaderboard rank is cosmetic only and used for tie-breakers during Scar-0. It never changes sweepstakes odds, prize tables, or the way Souls are awarded.
